Natal Days Art Show & Sale 2012, opens Friday August 3 and runs till Sunday August 12, daily from 9-4, downtown Annapolis Royal.

Well, I am feeling refreshed after a break from the easel. I have been very busy building art kits for students through a program at ArtsPlace in Annapolis Royal called "Studio-A-Go". There are 4 kits that are now available to students within the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board and to other community groups. The kits range from Basic Drawing, Painting/Colour, Stamping/Printmaking, and Collage. These kits are for rent on a 3 week basis and were made possible by a grant from the N.S Dept. of Communities, Cultures and Heritage, and also through funds raised by the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council.

This was my set up the day I went to Annapolis Highland Vineyards for the annual wine tour.

Many people stopped to look and chat about my work, taking my business cards and showing interest in my paintings.

Although it was a rainy day, it was a chance to promote myself in a wonderful setting.

I did this one for the annual Golf Fore The Cure golf tournament silent auction. 120 women came out to participate at the Annapolis Royal Golf & Country Club on Saturday August 27, 2011. We had a beautiful day and a great time was had by all...we raised over $20,000 at this event!!!

On September 24 2011, I will be at the Annapolis Highland Vineyards in Bear River East, NS, painting on site from 12-4pm. I will have paintings and assorted card & magnet gift sets for sale.
